any little village in europe good for a weekend break?

im in ireland so its not far away But i dont want to go where everyone else goes e.g paris milan copenhagen,

im looking for a hidden gem, or somewhere some one found by accident,

   It's a magazine that gives descriptions of special places in Europe. It's supposed to inspire you to look beyond the usual tourist trails. So no cities in it, just beautiful spots hidden from the main tourist routes. I'm sure you'll find something in it, it's just great.
