Village Breaks

What are the normal(or unusual)institutions where people get together in a village?

And I don't mean where villagers can warm themselves round a hairpiece.I mean a Village shop,Bus Stop and Post Office.What have I forgotten?Any ideas?

1. Pub, Post Office, Shop, Church, Village Hall
2. village hall or community centre, church, doctors waiting room, pub, chemist shop etc.
3. mostly a village hall, which maybe shared by more than one village, there are not so many shops and so on, buses are rubbish so that is the most common, ,the village hall
4. The Butchers.
5. Post office lol (i know you said that already), church, schools and village events like galas lol.
6. Very few villages have a post office or shop any more, and in the Westcountry there are no buses, let alone bus stops.
   
   People get together at Churches or Church functions, and organisations like the WI, usually meeting in the village hall.
